Apparently Paper 1 was…gorgeous?

Apart from that eight-marker on Weimar culture

At least the medicine paper prescribed the goods

And forget punishment, sometimes crime does pay…

What people are saying about GCSE History Paper 1 on The Student Room

That was honestly the best medicine paper ever. Western front was easy I loved Question 1, 12 marker was great and easily worded, 16 marker I picked Question 6 - huge timeframe and I love modern and industrial!! I dropped 2 marks in my mock so i’m really optimistic about this I cant believe it went this well!

Crime and Punishment was singlehandedly the best paper edexcel has put out in the last 5 years. All the questions were do-able and not insanely worded. Both 16 markers were great to choose from. The sources were so easy. The 4 mark detail question literally was 'Types of Crime' in a crime and punishment paper. Comparision was probably the hardest question and even that was easy. LIGHT WORK

The first question in crime and punishment paper was so weird and unexpected it was about describing 2 features of growth of socialism in whitechapel and the 12 marker was a bit hard so waffled a bit apart from that the rest of the paper was good
