Blog your way to better grades (and perhaps our brilliant first prize...)
Grow your Grades is a humongous blogging community that is your one-way ticket to the best grades you can get.
Keep track of your study habits, exam scores and revision meltdowns with a Grow your Grades blog and you're more likely to reach those top grades.
It's open to everyone, no matter what level or ability you're at - it's all about growing your own grades, whether it's from a D to a C, or a 7 to an 9.
So how do I start a blog?
To begin blogging your journey, simply create a thread here.
Firstly, think up a title for your blog. You can keep it as simple as Sinnoh's 'A-level Revelations' or jazz it up like "Mozzarella? Cheddar? Roquefort? Toastie tries to find her way....' It's completely up to you!
Then, write your first post. You can make it as detailed or as simple as you like, and you can check out other blogs for inspiration. We really like CoffeeAndPolitics and clouddbubble's opening posts. Try to include what you're studying, and what you're aiming for.
If you like, you can also choose to 'label' your blogs with what level you are at, from the drop down 'label' option on the left hand side. If you don't want to, you can leave it blank.
Finally, when you're happy with it, press the orange 'submit' button down the button. Voilà! You've just taken your first step to exam success.
Why you should enter
Not only is it a way to make sure you get the best grades that you can, there's also a chance of winning a MacBook Air!
When the competition closes after GCSE results day 2020, we will pick a winner based on their posts and journey through the academic year. You can check out the 2019 winner here if you want some inspiration.
As well as a great first prize, we also have two runners-up prizes of £50 Amazon vouchers. And there's another £25 Amazon voucher for the most supportive Grow your Grades community member, so get interacting with the other blogs as well!
What do we love to see in your blogs?
Photos! Of rooms, stationery, desks, kitchen tables, book, revision snacks - anything you like!
Hearing about things that go wrong as well as things that go right. The dark nights as well as the glory days.
How you learn, as well as what you learn. What goes right for you? What revision techniques do you struggle with?
Your life in general - how do you balance this?
Your feelings and emotions about the up times, the down times and the inbetweeny times.
Timetables, study plans, revision schedules and diaries. We like to know all the detail you think is uninteresting - we think it's interesting!
So what are you waiting for? Get involved and start your Grow your Grades blog!
