Much the same story for me, family expectations, teacher expectations, all that stuff. I seem to have done a good job in persuading them all that Imperial is just as good though.

Yea, my dad seems to be persuaded that imperial is just as good as cambridge for comp sci. I think its when he saw the figures for graduate prospects and the average comp sci graduate starting salary...
But he still wants me to go to cambridge, and so do I to be honest...
