Yawn. Notice the "could", "can", "potential", "possible". We are the one with the Champions' League medals, we are the ones with the top manager, we are the ones with plenty of money, and we are also the ones with good business sense. We can only improve.

Yes I do notice those words. Sunderland could beat Arsenal 10-0.

Plenty of money eh? How much exactly? What? You've bought success?!
Just to let you all know I have posted a thread for the Community Shield in the predictions forum.
Real Madrid will be fearing for their first spot in the world.

Who was to say we'd have made it to the last 16? Who would have thought we'd have beaten Leverkusen; claimed the scalps of both the English and Italian Champions; beaten the most 2nd most successful European club in the final? We are a rich club, made through honours and good management. Somehow the "buying success" argument will not wash with us. We're neither a plc or a billionaire's plaything.

You'll have to win another 9 Champions' Leagues and 26 Championships to even entertain that idea.

:reddy: ROFL!
I always thought Juventus were better than AC Milan in Europe, may be just domestically then.

When I meant first spot I was responding to Peter Kenyon's comments. "Peter Kenyon maintains Chelsea's aim is to "become the most successful club in the world" within a decade (source: http://www.football365.com/news/premiership_news/story_158639.shtml) If you mean titles in general then it's impossible as Real Madrid will still be more successful even if Chelsea won all the league titles and Champions Leagues for 10 years running. May be he meant fan base or something.

I'm not. I'm dismissing you because you are not the most successful team in the Premiership. You're the second most successful club in England.

Because they have won the league three times and the cup 9 times?

It happened 60 years ago.

True. Who's third and forth? I've always wondered on that.
