9/10. :yay:

Finally we disagree significantly! :woo:
Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory.

Yeah I got to disagree with all of you guys on this one. I have tried numerous times over the years but I just cant get into Linkin Park. There isn't anything too wrong with it but it's not for me. 5/10
I also concur with 5/10 for Linkin Park
Okay here we go with Pony from Rex Orange County. Never heard of them him at all beforehand
(sounds more like a band name than a solo artist name!)

10/10 - 10 seconds in and I know this won't be.

Always - that was a bit better

Laser Lights - how do you speak out of tune?

Face to Face - starting to remind me of Courtney Barnett...

Stressed Out - started out nice. Don't remember the rest

Never Had The Balls - meh.

Pluto Projector - the least bad

Every Way - nah.

It Gets Better - nah

It's Not The Same Anymore - nice instrumental but kinda boring.

3/10, a couple songs I found nice-ish but other than that, nah.
Pony by Rex Orange County:

10/10 - :noway: A 3 at best.

Always - Instrumentals were nice; auto tune vocals aren't my cup of tea.

Laser Lights - Yeah, I think I'd enjoy a karaoke version of the album. Sounds amazing when he isn't 'singing'.

Face to Face - Easily the best so far, and especially relevant in these lockdown days. Gets a :coma: from me.

Stressed Out - Short, not awful.

Never Had The Balls - Quite catchy. :coma:

Pluto Projector - Pleasant background music. Really liked the strings towards the end... but the last few seconds killed it for me.

Every Way - I'd genuinely like this, if only the vocals sounded a little less electronic. :s: It just doesn't work in this kind of slow-paced love song.

It Gets Better - Song title isn't wrong. :coma:

It's Not The Same Anymore - He's quite the multi-instrumentalist, going by Wikipedia! But the lyrics didn't hold my interest.

Also 3/10.
Rex Orange County - Pony

Not much to say about this. Lyrics were not very good, nothing special about the rest of it. Nothing really bad about it either. 4/10
pony's a **** album by him his older stuff is so much better :grumble:
Oh dear, this one's tied with Courtney Barnett as the 2nd-lowest score
Pony by Rex Orange County

This was all a little bit pony to me. Really not a fan of that vocal style, and by that I think I mean auto corrected to an inch of it's life.

3/10
The Black Keys - El Camino

Yeah that was pretty good, lovely riff on the opening track, I wasn't giving the album my full concentration so I kind of missed a few tracks. Sound could've been a bit more varied, though.

7.5/10
The Black Keys - El Camino

Lonely Boy - strong start, love the vocals

Dead and Gone - good

Gold on the Ceiling - Really liked it

Little Black Submarines - Probably my favourite, both of the styles are good and the transition works

Money Maker - Not so sure about this one

Run Right Back - Pretty good

Sister - Good

Hell of a Season - liked

Stop Stop - really good, I like the guitar

Nova Baby - nice

Mind Eraser - Also good

A little samey, but I liked all of them. Really nice vocals and all sounded good. 9/10
With my picks all gone, can we have Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms and Yellowcard - Ocean Avenue

Stop Stop - Fantastic. :coma:

Nova Baby - Alright.

Mind Eraser - Pleasant enough.

8/10, they were starting to blend together a bit by the end, but it never sounded bad.
The Black Keys - El Camino

I remember being really excited when this album came out and it doesn't disappoint when listening back. 8/10

I wasn't intentionally going reverse chronologically! I probably should have, my mistake!
