In the Aeroplane Over the Sea was excellent, latter half especially so. Ghost was my favourite track, the title track also good. Shame they didn't make any more albums!
It's one of those albums I thought I'd ought to listen to for a long time, never got around to it, glad I did.
9/10 too.

9/10.
I wrote everything up and then I accidentally clicked on another thread and I am not writing all of that up again so yeah.

Bloody brilliant album it was gorgeous! His voice is amazing, the harmonies were on point, that atmosphere was great! Everything was good although the first song and the last song did kinda bore me but other than that, everything was superb!

Cheers! I change it every month. :yep:

Fleet Foxes2

Sun It Rises - Pleasant folk rock sound. :yy:

White Winter Hymnal - Song was lovely, and bonus points for the stop motion music video. :yy:

Ragged Wood - Fine, but preferred the first two.

Tiger Mountain Peasant Song - Fantastic. :yy:

Quiet Houses - Pleasant enough, but not that interesting

He Doesn’t Know Why - Better. :yy:

Heard Them Stirring - Good stuff. :yy: No words in this one!

Your Protector - WOW. :yy:

Meadowlarks - Quality birb lyrics. :yy:

Blue Ridge Mountains - Loved the intro especially. :yy:

Oliver James - (almost) a cappella is fine too. :yy:

9/10 from me too. :congrats:
Cop Shoot Cop - Ask Questions Later

Surprise, Surprise - Didn't excite me, to be honest.

Room 429 - That's more like it! :yy:

Nowhere - Alright. Hard to make out the vocals.

Migration - Short instrumental, bit repetitive.

Cut to the Chase - Dark lyrics, feels like it should be my kind of track... but something's just not doing it for me.

$10 Bill - This was different! Great use of percussion, and easier to make out the words. :yy:

Seattle - Short (mostly) instrumental, bit repetitive.

Furnace - Liked this. :yy:

Israeli Dig - Best of the short instrumentals, dark and moody. Probably repetitive too, but it doesn't matter when I like the sounds. :p:

Cause and Effect - Good. :yy:

Got No Soul - Really interesting sounds in this one. :yy:

Everybody Loves You - This is getting better! :yy:

All the Clocks are Broken - Fine. Long pause at the end, presumably to hide the 'untitled' track?

Untitled - ...okay?

6/10. Had its moments.

Cop Shoot Cop - Ask Questions Later (1993)

Suprise, suprise- It's okay

Room 429- Sounds a bit Halloween-ey.

Nowhere- I liked it

Migration- Not much happend and I'm pretty sure that's cos it's an interlude or something

Cut to the Chase- Love the Egyptian sound makes it more interesting but probably wouldn't listen again.

$10 Bill- love the scream in the beginning! I love this song!!!

Seattle- He was saying Seattle right? Yeah that was pretty short but it was good

Furnace- Not bad  I like the baseline.

Israeli Dig- Sounds like a doing that I'd fall in and out of sleep to. The noises are relaxing but just loud enough to make me do that  goodie.

Cause and Effect- Meh forgettable 2 me.

Got No Soul- I love the lyrics  love this song bloody great!!

Everybody Loves You- This sounds a lot better!!! Big improvement I like it  even though his voice is a bit lower, except from the chorus, it sounds a lot more alive!

All the Clocks Are Broken- Meh.

[Untitled]- I actually enjoyed this but I don't really know what the guy's talking about. Sounds interesting though and I like the bird sounds in the background.

7/10- There were a couple of songs that I reeeeeally enjoyed (Got no soul, $10 bill and Everybody loves you) which just boosted the score from a 5 to a 7. Yeah not too bad.

i bet :headbang: Love new music
Surprise, Surprise - A relatively weak start.

Room 429 - Lovely and some particularly good bass.

Nowhere - Good again.

Migration - As others have said, nothing much happens.

Cut to the Chase - Reminds me a little of misirlou.

$10 Bill - Another nice song.

Seattle - Seattle.

Furnace - Still some great music. As oceanwater says, a good bassline.

Israeli Dig - Another instrumental - rather relaxing.

Cause and Effect - The high end bass was very nice on this one.

Got No Soul - A great monologue with some neat atmospheric background noise.

Everybody Loves You - My favourite song on here.

All the Clocks are Broken - Another good one, quite macabre seeming.

Untitled - Alright, prefer the more music heavy pieces.

9/10 - mostly nice but a few not so strong songs.
Fleet Foxes

Sun It Rises - very nice

White Winter Hymnal - ditto

Ragged Wood - changed it up well, also good vocals

Tiger Mountain Peasant Song - relaxing.

Quiet Houses - feels like filler. Not much going on.

He Doesn't Know Why - I liked that one.

Heard Them Stirring - good instrumental

Your Protector - this one especially good.

Meadowlarks - lovely

Blue Ridge Mountains - definitely the best track since the first two

Oliver James - decent.

hmmm... 8.5/10. Some excellent songs there, but some also more forgettable.

Yeeeees!!! :bhangra:I added this song to my playlist already so this is great 4 me!
Might have to start after chores tho... Hmmm we'll see.
The Velvet Underground and Nico-The Velvet-(aaah you get it)

Sunday Morning- It is a part of my tradition to listen to this song e.v.e.r.y Sunday morning!! Perfect!!

I'm waiting for the Man- Perfect.

Femme fatale- This song is ingrained into my subconscious mind. I love it. Her voice is heavenly:biggrin:

Run run run- Not bad!

All tomorrow's parties- Nico's lower register is beautiful it's just blends in perfectly with the instruments! Some of those notes are pretty damn hard to hit!

Heroin- This wasn't how I thought it was gonna go lol I thought that a song named heroin would probably sound darker but this is perfect! It's so relaxing yet disturbing. I love how the song picks up the pace and the instruments get louder and then return to back to normal- genius representation of a high! Absolutely incredible song and that ending- woah!

There she goes again- I swear to G this was an amazing transition from Heroin and I'm pretty sure it's because of Lou's voice! The background vocals, the instrumental everything is wonderful!!

I'll be your mirror- Her voice is everything. Short but that's to keep u wanting more... It worked

The black angel's death Song- His voice sounds goregous! Love this song!!

European son- Bloody brilliant chaotic ending

10/10 Perfection. Yes I know there's no perfect album and sometimes it did flaw but overall, it's a masterpiece to me!
Whoever recommend this album, Ily.

Suggestion for after album #200: The 2nd Law by Muse. I'm intentionally picking a more divisive one this time :P

Venus in Furs - EPIC. :yy:

Run Run Run - Loving the variation so far. :yy:

All Tomorrow’s Parties - Fantastic. :yy:

Heroin - Not bad at all, for a long drug song.

There She Goes Again - Noice. :yy:

I’ll Be Your Mirror - :suith: :yy:

The Black Angel’s Death Song - Really interesting. :yy:

European Son - Easy 10/10. :yy:
