You should strongly consider the Law with American Law. On the year abroad you'll be completing a year's worth of credits at the US law school. After you graduate from UEA, you might be able to go back to the US school and finish up another year (they will likely grant credit for the LLB) and get a JD. Just something to consider.

University: Manchester
Course: Japanese (T200)
Date Application sent: October 22nd
Decision: Conditional
Offer conditions: AAB
Reaction: Didn't expect such a quick offer (6 days after it was sent!), very happy and more confident about my app! Don't particularly want to go to Manchester as it doesn't look the best for Japanese, but it's great have an offer and something to fall back on.

University: Leeds
Course: Japanese (T210)
Date Application sent: 22nd October
Decision: Conditional
Offer conditions: ABB
Reaction: Ecstatic!! Leeds is my insurance or if SOAS rejects me, my firm.

Hi can I have some advice please? Lets say on results day you miss out on both your firm and insurance reject you; can you the choose on of your other offers and then go to it?

RHUL have given out a few offers already, I think for English too. It depends on when you applied though, so don't worry.

Just got my first rejection from Bath. I'm totally sad, it was my second choice after Aston (still waiting decision from Aston). At least I got in the previous weeks an unconditional offer from Westminster and a conditional from Hull (so I'm safe).

Anyone got an acknowledgement from Heriot Watt?
I've lost my motive after receiving 2nd offer...

Nottingham is asking for AB or BBB (yeah, whilst their typical offer is AAA/AABB (AAB/ABBB for International student = what I am, though.)

I know I should be happy about lowered offer but...don't know why, I can't.

I started to regret about my choices...and thinking "Shouldn't, or why didn't I apply to a better institution instead of one of (SOAS, Notts or Manchester)" (TBH I don't think there're many viable choices though, as UCL rejected me straight (i.e. LSE and Warwick probably won't want me as well) away and those 3 aren't really bad anyway...)

It makes me want to drop music and business studies as I no longer need them (big sigh)
