Hi everyone Just a quick question, I got an acknowledgement email from York St John as soon as my application had been processed, but another university I am applying to say they don't get the application 4 - 10 days until it has been sent to UCAS. I'm confused! Does anyone know why this is? Thank you

Hi, sent my UCAS off yesterday morning, I got an acknowledgement at 7am this morning from St. John (as I think you realised ), think maybe the other uni's are saying it as a kinda insurance thing, just in case they're really busy. People are less likely to complain if they get an acknowledgement early and it saves people from panicking if it takes a while for them to process it!

Looked at your choices and it's as I suspected!

Does 'Acknowleged ' mean that they sent an email, saying that they are considering your UCAS?
