I left when I was 19, moved into rented accommodation then bought my first house when I was 21
Well I've semi left home for uni, and depending on what job I manage to get post-uni, I don't see myself ever living there 24/7 again...

Never, I'll miss my bedtime stories too much.
Bit of a flawed poll given that almost everyone on here goes to uni/went to uni/plans to go to uni and most people would leave home to go to uni.

I plan on leaving home at 17, unsurprisingly, for uni.

I'll leave for uni and never come back!!
I'm 21 on Weds, won't be moving out this year.
Working for a year next year.
MA the year after that.
So like 25/26? FML.

I'm at uni, so I've sort of moved out now, so 18. I don't intend on going back either, other than over the holidays - as in, when I'm done with uni, I don't want to go back home.
I was 17, why is the youngest age "below 22"?

I was 17 when I moved out. Just a couple months into first year at uni.

Should be more options than just "under 22" :P

No his parents quite clearly gave him the cash!
I left at 18 for uni, am coming back for a month (I'm 19 now), leaving for 3 months in Jan, coming back for 3 months, then going to uni again :| Messy. I should be 100% gone in September this year, aged 19.

Where did you go at 17? Isn't it a bit too early?

I moved out for university at 18 and since I worked all holidays I didn't really have any reason to move back. Regarding property purchases though, this will probably be done when I am 22 alongside a friend.

Almost certainly I will leave for uni when 18 (not long, eek!) but then I'm planning on coming hope to do my PGCE afterwards. My only worry is that I'll have made really good friends at uni but will then be living at home, without really knowing anyone anymore. But finance comes first I suppose.
When I graduate in 3 years at 22 I will be moving to switzerland. Until then I'm staying at home, we're in central london so uni is a only few tube stops away.
