Different tissue types in intestine

I've figured out that the tissue types are muscle, epithelial and connective but I think there's another.

I also have no idea where each type of tissue is on the image :frown:

I've been searching the internet for a while but nowhere shows the tissue types, just the different names for the sections.

Thanks in advance. I'm really struggling.
Mucous Membrane

* Epithelium
* Lamina propria
* Muscularis mucosa

Submucosa
Muscularis Externa

* Inner circular fibres
* Outer longitudinal fibres

Serosa

* Mesothelium
* Connective tissue (thin layer)

This is really helpful! :smile:

By the connective tissue (thin layer) which part do you mean? Is this the really yellow section in the micrograph?

I'm not sure :frown: I'm trying to do Pathology now but I'm really clueless when I look at diagrams like that. I think it's below the yellow - from this diagram anyway:

- I don't know how to put pics on a post!

That's why I'm struggling. I can find pictures on the internet but the micrograph looks completely different :frown:
I'm screwed because I need to do it for a question on my coursework.
