I agree with this, if you read past the simple love story there is a lot of substance and deep meanings behind twilight if you read into it who else agrees.

Daily Mail = trolls.
**** no. **** no.

i read it and cringed all the way through. primarily because the characterisations were ****...bella had absolutely no depth,edward had no depth,as for story line nothing happened until the last two chapters....so basically i felt like i was reading a book about nothing :/

Except it's less complex with less of a plot, less thought and less emotion.

In the sense that you have to disengage your brain and re-engage it in an entirely new sense just to understand one sentence, then sure, they're bang on. The difference is, once you've done that, Shakespeare was actually good.

I found what I was forced to read of Shakespeare incredibly boring, and from what I've been told about it, I would have similar sentiments about Twilight. I agree also.
