What if I can't get it up...

Last Saturday me and my girlfriend almost had sex, until we heard the scraping of they key as my Mum returned home early...
Secretly, I was quite glad because I've never had sex before and I'm really afraid that I won't be able to maintain my erection because I'm nervous about it being rubbish for my girlfriend. This in turn makes it less and less likely for me being able to keep the fire burning, making me more worried - you can see where this is going... :smile:

I've spoken to my girlfriend about it and she was very understanding (she isn't a virgin) and reassured me that she loves me and doesn't care what happens - that it will get better quickly as I get used to it. But for some reason, I still find myself really nervous about it because I just don't like failing at things... especially something as awesome as sex!!!

Can anyone offer me any help/words of advise?

Ha! It's always awkward when you've too much to drink that junior has decided he doesn't want to stand to attention when ordered.

Although some times it is a good thing, if you are that drunk, you can be pretty sure that she isn't anywhere near as good looking as you think - almost like a built-in fail safe.

Funny but, the latter seems to happen to me pretty much every single time I've ever attempted to have sex.

brah bad attitude. problem is you see sex as something shrouded in mystery - you don't know how to make it good for your girl, so you're frightened.

here's the secret: sex is all psychological - on your part as well. by being nervous, you aren't performing and THAT means she isn't happy.

you gotta think of your fantasies if you're having trouble and treat it as if you were going solo. think of celebrities, think of how sexy your gf looks, think of doing her this way that way, think of a horse penetrating her - i don't know your deal lol.

also you need a basic anatomy lesson - go educate yourself on sex on in the net - it won't be as mysterious as you think. ANYTHING you do will be good. Do foreplay. Finger her, kiss her - build up to the vagina - it is very sensitive, kiss the inner thighs, and build up - don't be nervous, be animalistic and sensual, kiss down the labia, and build up to the clit because it's very very sensitive and contains as many nerve endings as your entire penis. i'm not going into too much detail here i hope. if you go down on her - trust me on this, especially for a virgin - lick the alphabet.
