Jobs With A Politics Degree

What jobs/careers can you have with a politics degree?

Any one have one? What jobs have you had?

Politician
A career in Journalism may be suited to you. People who are specialised in areas such as politics are always necessary.

Mind, it's an over-saturated industry, every tom dick and harry who has a notepad and half a braincell wants to be a journalist these days.

Almost anything apart from those specialist jobs like doctors, engineers and all that jazz(I'm very tired to write properly)

If you get it from the right university you can do just about anything.

I've heard stories of IBs hiring people with degrees in Chemistry and seeming illogical things like that, but the truth is, if you're clever and hard working enough to study at a top uni, it doesn't really matter what you actually study there. (Languages, history of art and literature to a lesser extent are possible exceptions).

I was told that investment banks often take physics/chemistry students because of their aptitude with mathematical equations.
Anything that doesn't need you to have a science degree.

I can't vouch for it's truth but I guess it makes sense. Though why not take maths students over science students...ehh nevermind. Number people

Unfortunately I'm not in France, it just happened to be the first thing I could think of for my location. I live in sunny ol' England, where I happen to be off college all week due to snow

Hehe I see.
Go for an internship with an MP or, even better, an MEP. Then the world is your oyster. I know people who did this and have ended up in top Investment Banks or working for political think tanks.
