To rule someone out PURELY because of their race is definitely racist as it would be to rule out a black person of a job PURELY because of their race. I do agree with you about the preference thing but not all black and chinese women look the same so the idea of ruling out 2.45 billion women does seem racist. I think that having a preference is a much more socially exceptable type of racism but it is nevertheless racist to not include someone in something, albeit a job or a 'type' of person to date just because of the colour of their skin.

Stastistically IQ varies with race. Yes I recognise that IQ is merely one way of measuring intelligence. Yes I recognise that it is on averages so I'm not implying a random person off the street is more intelligent than another based on their race. Yes the reason(s) are unknown

I know you mean well but then I often think people who start these threads are trolls who get their kicks from the responses they receive. I often wonder if ignoring them is the best option?

It's just that these race threads annoy me so much because 9 times out of 10, the OP is just looking to get reaction from people. I think responding and trying to reason with them just feeds into the whole thing and gives them what they want.

Yeah fair play I agree. But I can see how the issue can be seen as racist but also not racist and it is just preference and we can't help that so are we born with racism built in to us, or is it society that is corrupting our views on attraction to different races?

If you actaully researched what he just said, you would understand he is correct.... I remember it on a TV documentary called Nature vs Nurture, and quoting it vaguely: "East Asians (probably Asian American) have an average IQ of 103, Westerners (Ambigious much) have an average IQ of 100, and Africans have an average IQ of 97."

By the way, I am all for nurture and a hard work ethic.
