Any A* phrases I could add to my piece of work?

I have a French GCSE Speaking test in four days. Does anyone have any good phrases I could put in my piece of work to get an A*?

The topic is about : Leisure/Holidays

Past holiday
Why holidays are important
Your favorite type of holiday and such...
"Je ne pense pas qu'il soit nécessaire d'avoir les vacances a l’étranger chaque année."
I don't think that it's necessary to have holidays abroad every year.
 It's subjunctive, so that's like A at AS level.

i don't know exactly how to say this in french, but it should be easy to figure out how, my teacher told us to try and include three tenses in our orals, so i used:
'next year, i'd like to go to __________ because of the ___________ but my mum doesn't like the __________'

You'd want to use cause de' if you want to say 'beacuse of...'. If you wanted to say 'because it's sunny' or whatever, you could use 'puisque' as well.

This.
Subjunctive ftw.
If you want to get an A* they are gonna ask you questions that you aren't expecting to see whether you can actually converse instead of memorise
C'était une expérience que je n'oublierais jamais - It was an experience that I shall never forget

Et après avoir fait cela - and after having done that

Après être arrivé(e)/en arrivant - after having arrived/on arrival

On est tombés en panne - we broke down

Il y avait trop de monde - it was too crowded/ there were too many people

On s'est bien amusés - we had a good time

Si j'avais le temps, j'irais à la plage - if I had time, I would go to the beach

Some A* Connectives

Sauf - except
Donc - therefore/so
Ni...Ni... - neither...nor...
Ensuite - next
Enfin - finally
D'habitude - normally
Alors - so
Néanmoins/cependant/pourtant - however
En fait - in fact
Sinon - otherwise
Même si - even if
Malgré - despite
De même - similarly

I'm happy to check your work through for you when you're done.
