I remember when I was about 13 and my computer froze while I was trying to close the tabs.

Worst thing ever.

Luckily it was 2001 and my dial-connection had only managed to load up a single, solitary boob.

If you are using windows: Alt + F4.

If you are using Mac: Hang a hat on the door-knob.
I generally don't  because there happens to be a television
Well I'd general I'd do it when folks were asleep or out. But if not I'd simply close the window or open a new window, otherwise make an excuse as suggested such as "Let me just finish something for 5 mins, I'll tell you when I'm done.". Luckily with my computer in my room and the fact my Mum has her own laptop now, this never happens.

Noone uses my laptop but me. Once in a while I let my sister use it, but log on as another user. My mum has asked to quickly look something up on the net before, but I just tell her to give me five minutes.

"How am I supposed to have a cry **** in these conditions?! Get out!"

Don't have this situation...but I'd imagine Windows 7 and if you mouse over the window on the task bar yu can close individual windows with only a tiny thumbnail that if your cast enough won't look suspicious.
The amount of times my mum has used my computer only to find a dodgy tube site open... she doesn't even mention it any more. As for your problem, you are an idiot if the porn isn't gone by the time they can see it. Alt + F4 as soon as you hear someone approaching.

Hey guys. Has anybody ever been looking at porn then clicked onto another window when a parent comes in like you normally would, but then have them wanting to use the computer for 5 minutes?

My dad just wanted to look on amazon whilst I had a window at the bottom saying "Big Tits." He does have ropey eye sight so he may not have noticed what that said unless he directly looked at the windows at the bottom. However, I am so worried that he did. Thank god, he didn't say anything if he did see it.

I'm just wondering, does anyone have any good strategies of quickly getting rid of porn if somebody is looking directly at the computer?

Thanks

Four finger scrolls on the old macbook work a treat. Also have numerous spaces opened with a different web browser in each haha. My parents are into computers that much so thats enough to fool them.
Go to tools and "Clear Recent history". Then select the appropriate amount of time.

I shall now erase my history of telling you this

Press the power button. When he asks just say you sneezed or something.

I wish I could sneeze the Windows 7 logon sound! :awesome:

Your router probably logs all websites visited.
If anyone in the house knows how to access the router page they can easily see what you've been looking at.
You need to clear the router log page regularly.

Thanking you.
Before viewing porn: Get Google Chrome, press Ctrl Shift N. You can "buy surprise birthday presents" all you want, no one will ever know.

quickly cum onto the keyboard and/or screen so they can't use it.
