I haven't..... But mine is ready to send off right now, I just have 1 more query.
Guys, don't even worry. TheStudentRoom is not a representation of the student population! 60-70% of my college haven't sent theirs off yet. The deadline is in just over a month, don't worry!

thank you for making me feel better
but it still bugs me that people are getting offers and i'm scared all the spaces will be taken up by "record number of applicants"

The universities should treat your application exactly the same as everyone else applying for the course, regardless of when you send it in. As long as you're good enough to get on the course, you should get an offer.

If UCL stop making excuses on the phone and let me talk to the admissions tutor then i will hopefully send mine off...
I had a personal statement and it was good; until a friend told me it was rubbish and now I can't come up with anything
I'm just re-drafting hopefully for the last time my personal statement. Hope to get it sent off my next Friday.

Send it to me if you want, I'll look over it and make the necessary corrections to the wording/grammar.

I'm in a happy mood and want to be helpful:tongue:

haven't sent mine yet either, a certain teacher is taking loads of time to translate my reference, he's a proper procrastinator :s-smilie:
Re: Ernst & Young degree: don't people have to pay to blatantly advertise on this site?

There are pros and cons of specialising too much with a degree choice; E&Y will focus on the pros, but please consider the cons carefully before going for such a degree.

In my case, I knew I wanted to be a brewer, I could have done a brewing degree, but did process engineering instead, ended up with job offers from pharma and beer companies...it may be better to keep a number of doors open.

Good luck whatever your choices

Thanks for your input. We realise that the EY Degree is not suitable for everyone however it does offer excellent opportunities for those people who have already decided on their ultimate career path. As an official representative of EY, TSR have invited us to promote our opportunities and promote these to students as well as answer questions posed by students.
