Do some guys prefer average looking girls when much more attractive girls are around?

I’m starting to wonder if he fancies me though because he recently asked for my number and said we should go out for a drink sometime.

That statement says he wants to bone you.

With that said, today the origin of most relationships is in bed, so if you’re up for a potential ons, it may lead to something special.

Best wishes
We zon like zeh average looking girlz. We like zeh HAWT girlz thanks.

(but there's a little more to it than just looks )

No guy thinks "Oooh I'm gonna go for the really plain fugly girl". It's just that far less guys are actually attracted to the stereotypical "hot girl" look than most girls seem to imagine.

If he is asking you out, its probably because he thinks you are the hot girl, not those other two.

actually, unless you're under 16, physically disabled, or a born-again Christian, that is basically true.

Sad reflection of the times imo, I'm a girl who prefers old fashioned dating.

I'd like to believe there are loads of guys out there who aren't looking for a girl to put out straight away.

I really don't see how a mature and realistic attitude to sex is "sad". Committing to a relationship before having sex is about as good an idea as buying a car before checking they key works.

Well sex is very important to a relationship but I don't think it's the be and end all. There are other important things such as really having a genuine like for the person as an individual and really knowing them.

What happens when all the sexual chemistry fizzles out? It happens a lot in relationships. People are putting sex before the relationship these days and it's no wonder there's an extremely high divorce rate and I'm sure relationships are no longer as stable as they used to be.

The common theme I've got from asking people who are in long-term relationships that have been stable is that they are kind of soul mates with their partners. When I ask people about break-ups, they common theme is we drifted part, when probing further 'it wasn't as exciting as before' 'the chemistry was all gone' 'We hadn't had sex for 3 months'. This list goes on.

I think my attitude is mature and realistic because I much prefer stable relationships which won't be solely based on lust. I'm not the sort of person who tries out guys like shoes. If I'm to go out with someone then I'd like to get to know them and have a degree of certainty that their feelings for me aren't just based on lust. I'm an old fashioned person and I'm sure there are also old fashioned guys out there. I favour the date/get to know before sex approach but it doesn't necessarily equate to don't try before you buy because there isn't a commitment yet at that point.

dumb retard guys prefer average-to-ugly cumdumpsters becaws basic pragmatism on the guys part:

hawt girl = high maintenance, attention-seeking, independent, slightly more dominant than average girl, basically more of a handful and less likely to put out, will leave if cheated on or if fed crap/lies.

average-to-ugly/fat chick = easy piece of ass, low maintenance, clingy but in a ego-stroking "im the man" kinda way, almost parasitically dependent on bf, subservient in life and possibly bedroom, likely to stay and take lots of crap from bf as long as he says sorry, more likely to put out and agree to dumb anal fantasies [that i have never understood], will put up with guy watching much more attractive sluts getting sexed in pornographic movies.

of course, intelligent guys either want a relationship and will strive to have it with the chick they actually find attractive or will recognise the pointlessness of a relationship and tell corrupting womens to leave him aloen,

anyway just so you know girlies this is what i have always assumed about men anyway.

The fact that you're relating having sex to buying a car gives any girl an indication to what to expect when she's about to have sex with you...

I don't buy into those categories. I don't think all girls fall neatly into them.

I'm less likely to put out, I'm independent, I don't stand for lies, I'm not clingy and I don't compromise my principles so I wouldn't allow a guy to get away with a lot of what you are describing.
Generally hot girls are bitches/sluts with massive egos (not always, just generally) so someone with a more subtle beauty you get more personality. The guy probably just has good taste.

of course not. we're talking laws of averages here. pretty girls have egos to maintain and stuff. average girls are easier. beta men go for easy.

but if you're hot, you'd fall rather nicely into ther first category.

Right, so your solution to the problem of people committing to relationships to which they are unsuited is for them to know even less about each other first? :facepalm2:

If you don't think a happy sex life is an crucial part of any adult relationship you clearly don't know what you're talking about. Rather than asking other people about long term relationships, have you ever actually been in one? How old are you, 14?

"old fashioned" in the sense you use it just means "naive". Enjoy your many years to come of poor choices, bad sex and unhappy relationships.

Don't be retarded. It was the best analogy I could think of. Maybe you will prefer this one: Sex is an important part of a relationship. Conversation is also an important part of a relationship. Would you commit to someone without speaking to them first? No? Then how come sex is different? (answer: it isn't)

maybe to him your the super hot one :s-smilie:, everyone has different taste in women,

btw as you like to test out the feelings before a relationship most lads will prefer to test the sexual side to. were not saying its the be all and end all but it is a fairly major part of a relationship. People change over time from being quiet and shy ect as they get a lil thing called "life expierience". a simplistic way of looking at it is at children, between then early school experience and leaving school you begin to discover what you like and who you like. You'd be niave to think you wouldn't continue to do that aftwards to.

essentially relationships are abit of give and take anyway :s-smilie:.

Good luck
