If a lad sleeps with loads of girls - girls would probably think of him as a bit of a man slag/player and maybe stay away from him if they have standards.
Whereas other lads either just wouldn't care, or his mates would have a bit of a laugh about it with him/ see it as not a bad thing

If a girl sleeps with loads of lads - Guys would have the same reaction as girls in the first example, they'd think shes a bit of a slag.
BUT here's the main difference, her fellow girls of the world would also see her as a slag.

In my eyes this is the reason for the way things are, if a girl does it everyone judges her. If a lad does it, only girls judge and he won't have his mates turning on him.
Meaning the girl will have a harder time.

So girls only have themselves to blame :wink:

Hence, males compete for her and she picks the best one - she shouldn't just have sex with all of them, whereas males are wired differently to maximise the likelihood of them producing an offspring so they will go after as many females as possible.

The whole 'slag' or 'legend' names are basic things from socialisation, like most other things, they are things to keep the different sexes in order. It isn't just about nature and eggs, it's up to the person, if they want to sleep with loads of different people then who are we to stop them and insult them, it is afterall their lives.

It should be equal to both men and women, as if people just degrade women for sleeping around then isn't that sexist? I find it highly amusing when some guys call girls slags or whores when they do just the same as them. I think that to make it fair, men should be called slags, whores, sluts, ect. 'Cause otherwise it's unfair, orginally those words were shot at women, but men can be whores too, it isn't exactly uncommon now, is it? Calling people these brainless terms just A) shows that the person calling them is beyond unoriginal and B) shows that the word is still unequal - let's face it, calling someone a 'slag' and another a 'player' doesn't really have the same effect now, does it? :P

No one wants to think of the person they like/love being with someone else, because over the last couple of millenia men have been the dominant gender this has led to a societal ingraining of girls to be chaste and to be socially judged for promiscuity. Everyone has temptations and so men have made it acceptable for themselves to sleep around. However I'll never have anything to compare it to but as I guy i can tell you that (especially with a few drinks) we get really horny to the point of wanting to nail girls considerably below what we would consider our "dating standard"; I don't know it girls get this but they give the impression that they don't get it nearly as badly??

1. An appendage to allow for urination and the ejaculation of sperm is not the same as a device designed to open and close another object. A passageway to allow sperm to reach the ovum and babies to be born is not the same as an instrument intended to prevent access. The key/lock analogy isn't an analogy at all; there's no similarity from which a comparison can be made. I might as well try to make the "analogy" that a crap garage is one that allows only one car (ever) whereas a fantastic garage is one that allows lots and lots of cars, over and over.

2. If you want to argue that men can be promiscuous because they need to spread their seed then you need to be consistent and demand that men sleep around for procreation, not recreation.

3. It doesn't matter if male animals might be promiscuous and females not; animals also **** in the forest and bark at trees. We've evolved beyond them. Plus, nature isn't a sensible measure of morality.

4. Just because it's easy doesn't make it wrong. Plenty of rich, famous, good-looking male rock stars, actors, and athletes can get any number of women they like. Are they being bad? The fact that it's easier for a girl to be promiscuous just makes her lucky, not a slut.

5. If you find promiscuous women repulsive then that's your issue. Plenty of people are repulsed by homosexuality, pre-marital sex, people with black skin, and atheism. Are their tastes correct? Then what of yours?

Try to find better excuses for your unjustified objections.

lool I saw what you wrote before btw.... but had to jump in the shower quickly... in all honesty though (it sounds kind of weird but too late now) girls are the ones getting 'done in' so it not really an accomplishment to have sex with lots of boys because after sex boys just feel normal whereas girl feel different.... just admit that Im right...

its like saying if a guy has sex with a hot celebrity you would rate them but if a girl had sex with a 'rock star' for example you would think they were slutty....

For both girls and guys, if you have low standards, you can easily sleep with lots of people simply by going out and socialising. If you have higher standards, you need to put a bit more work in.

The "women have all the power" might not be true for average looking women, but for pretty ones it seems awfully real. Female beauty is so revered that it allows its bearers to have and do anything they want. I'm not surprised women spend so much time and money on improving their appearance.
