Ummm ok? Nothing wrong with the horseback charges. If the protesters had not been so violent and stuck to their own pre planned route rather than rioting like animals then nothing would have happened

Your naivety shows once again. Do you even have a slither of knowledge on the history of protests? I have a little, and even I know Millbank was about as riotous as me on the toilet.

Right, so it's down to the police where you can and cannot go? Sounds familiar...

Let's say...the protesters were allowed to march onto Parliament. Do you think they were gonna do a Guy Fawkes? A V for Vendetta? Please.

To all the protesters, imagine your grandparents were walking through parliment square, and one of them takes a piece of wood, or even worse, a BRICK, to the side of the head, they WILL NOT survive that, how would you feel if that had happend with the violence at todays protests? The police are there to make sure that you dont have your protest where innocent people are, they are trying to protect the innocent with thier own safetey, whilst you only care about having to pay taxpayer money back once your earning 21,000 a year. The police did a good job today, risking thier own safety to protect the innocent.

Secondly, if the police hadn't blocked off the route out of parliament square perhaps they wouldn't have had to divert the pre-planned route? Which, incidently, was through parliament square to present a petition to Lib Dem MP's as far as I am aware.

Yeah peaceful as long as you let us smash up london. Yeah great one. The protests have damaged any sympathy that the rest of the country may have had, and its just been railroaded by extreme lefty types looking for a riot.

Right, a pre planned route is made for protests, because the police and council have to close roads and public transport routes before hand, to make sure that nobody is in danger. Breaking off from the route, for no reason other than "Oh man the police are against us, lets bring them down, and capitalism" Seriously? Are you 5 or something? The sooner you grow out of the whole "The police are against us" the better. They are there to protect the public, how would you feel if somebody you cared about took a piece of wood, metal, or a brick to the side of the head, they would NOT survive that, think about that for a second.....
