It's a tragic event, but not as tragic as an actual human death. Remember the cat bin lady? A lot of people called her the worst criminal in the world, even comparing her to Hitler, when her crime was relatively minor compared to what you have out there. Why do people care so much about animals instead of their own kind?

Ever considered the fact many serial killers start off by torturing and killing animals?

Besides that, it's a ****ing disgusting act to murder a family pet dog like that. There is no place in society for people like this.

It's not that the dog was killed, it's that it was killed in such a horrific way. We must feel some sympathy for the pain that the dog went through. Severe animal cruelty is no trivial thing. Anyone who can kill a greater animal* in such a sadistic way, could do horrible things to humans too. IMO they should be crippled for this. They are just nasty people altogether.

*greater animal as opposed to lesser creatures such as rodents, insects, fish, etc.

while i may agree with you, and dont get me wrong, i DO. but there is no way the person who did this deserves that kind of treatment. a human life is so much more valuable than an animals and thats just the truth. we are the supreme evolutionary mammal. you hippy animal protectors should realise this
