I guess if you wanna do MAths and Physics though at Uni then it is good but all these people who want to do medicine and take them because they think they need to, don't.

Umm... no.

I did all three, and while I agree there is some overlap between them, it's really not much. Maths and Further Maths obviously have a lot in common, but then that's kind of the point. Even so, they cover different topics or the same topics in greater depth. Maths/Further Maths and Physics don't really overlap apart from mechanics, which is a pretty small component of both courses.

The mechanics bit of physics, and to a small extent the practical aspects, are similar to M1 and M2, less so for M3, and have none of the same topics as M4. The skills from C1 and C2 are useful for physics but the actual topics are different.

So this thread is here because the OP is struggling with Further Maths. However, not everyone is the OP. Further Maths and Physics are great subjects; especially if you want to do Engineering or Physics.
