Farting around your bf/gf ?

Really random thread I know.

I just realised after being with my gf for 16 months she's never done this in front of me. Which I find really weird, Makes me feel life she's not really comfortable around me.

First time I did it was in the car on our second date. Our first date was 3 hours long. I do it like crazy and she never has a problem with me doing it, in fact she laughs a lot so I don't get why she doesn't

So guys and girls what's your oppinion on this. Do you do it ? If not why don't you ?

If I have an alternative place to fart, I won't do it in front of my boyfriend. But if it comes down to farting in front of him or letting it bubble back in, I won't hesitate to go for the former. :biggrin:

As for your girlfriend- some people just don't like farting in front of others, however close they may be. At least she's not overly flatulent around you, that would get unpleasant after a while..

I just thought girls didn't need to fart that much. I mean compared to guys around me or i've been with my need to pass wind has been relatively low. :dontknow:

Even if i needed i wouldn't infront of my BF, it would just be a bit rude. Like burping half way through a kiss or summink. Guys are guys.

Plus it's not farts that worry me, it's their ****ed up humour regarding Dutch Ovens. I was traumatised!!!!

On our second date (she came to mine) and she was cuddled up next to me with her head in my lap, watching a film.
I really needed to fart and fought like crazy to hold it in, whick luckily I did. There were moments when a little bit crept out, but nothing major...

Needless to say, I dominated a dump when she left...

The only time I wouldn't do it was on a first date when I didn't know the girl well e.g. someone I met in a bar. Or any instance where I was meeting someone for the first time in an important scenario. e.g. interview or important meeting.

Also in confined spaces with lots of people

There's a guy in my Economics class who has some medical condition so he's farting all the time. He gets away with it completely but that might just be because of the condition. He's still sat between the two fittest girls in the class and they haven't moved so ..

I wouldn't hesitate to do it though. Why the hell not ? Who is going to judge you for farting ? Unless you do it like every 10 minutes. If anyone ever said ''Eww'' or ''That's disgusting'' to me I would just ask them if they ever fart ? and why this situation should be different ?

It's not healthy to hold it in.

If I had a bf/gf I wouldn't mind if they farted. I'd giggle like a moron, but I'd find it somewhat endearing.

Unless it was a monstrous death cloud that made me feel ill. Then I'd make sure to feed them properly.

I was in the car and it was a pretty hot day and the windows were down. So when I did it I joked about it and rolled the windows up. We just laughed about it.

I'm not embarrassed by things like that. Short of soiling myself I don't care.

First time I met my gfs mum she asked about it. I told her I don't appreciate the social conditioning that has caused people to be ashamed of doing natural things. She told me recently she has liked me ever since I told her that.

It also annoys me when people take days of school/work for diarrhea. If your school/work has a toilet you should be fine.

People are ashamed of the silliest things.
