Government Wants to Regulate Internet Porn

Everyone should just dl the porn
Trying to censor four fifths of the Internet is a bit ambitious

Anyone fancy marching on Westminster brandishing packs of Kleenex? I've already got a chant sorted: "1, 2, 3, 4, stop trying to ban our porn! 5, 6, 7, 8, how else will we masturbate?!"

the second part is good but the first line needs to rhyme with it then it would be a brilliant protest chant
This is actually very stupid and I hope the labour government get back in and change it back.

Ahh of course! I was trying to rhyme the first bit with the first set of numbers. :/

Hmm, I'm thinking 'state' or 'big brother state' would go well, but I'm not sure how I'd incorporate it... :hmmm:

get downloading guys
Damn, going to have to make the most of it whilst I can and get to work.
Maybe kids want to watch porn and beat off you absolute tard Vaizey? Better young teens jerking off than having more underage sex so that more taxpayer money is wasted on abortions, STD's etc...

Yes, perfect! The numbers are superfluous. OK, so we've got the chant done, now to set a date...

Well, it's also an ideological difference between the left and the right: I don't believe in free will to the same extent as you. Science shows that we are affected by our circumstances/environment/experiences, regardless of any appeals to "responsibility".
Fair enough about the ideological differences. I agree that people can be influenced by certain factors, but not to the extent that you're saying. People do have ultimate free will. While you can be influenced, you're not 'forced' to do anything.

You also keep making the same point, despite the fact that I keep telling you I agree with it: I have no problem with sex itself or with children learning about it. I'm not a prude.
Then why ban porn? It's just sex...I don't understand why children should learn either 'sex is just for reproduction' or 'sex is only missionary and loving and gentle'. We both agree there's nothing wrong with it, so what's the problem?

Sure, kids should be exposed to horrible things where necessary, but they should not be routinely exposed to things that are likely to negatively affect their thought processes (which is one argument for why we ban consensual sex with minors, for example).

Just a couple of examples:
A child who lives in an ultra clean environment usually becomes very ill when they attend nursery, because their immune system hasn't been exposed to any illnesses. A child who's allowed to play, get messy, etc recovers faster from illnesses and doesn't get as many, because they've been exposed to it.

A child who's been forbidden from drinking alcohol ever will most likely go on a huge booze bender when they're 18. In Europe, where children are brought up to drink alcohol, there isn't much of a binge drinking culture, and people are much more responsible with alcohol.

Just some examples about how trying to mollycoddle people makes it worse.

"we don't want a nanny state. We just want to masturbate"

Christ, that's amazing! I was thinking we could also get one of the big tissue companies to sponsor the march, as they'll lose a large amount of custom if this comes into force.

Not sound, at all. If anything the children need protecting from Davie C and Ed Vaizey. What a waste of government time and money.

Is there no end to nanny state interference in our lives. YOU COULDN'T MAKE IT UP.

I'm chuffed the government are taking steps to protect people from viewing things that only damadge them.

What kind of a man or women would even allow themselves to be filmed doing inappropriate things...

What on earth makes you think labour would change it back? Considering their track record considering the nanny state I'd have thought this is something they'd very much support.

Tissues? They're too thin.

Loo roll is more like it.
