Is Red Herring a good make?

Just bought a jacket, and like it but not sure on the quality.

Yes, I'd say so. Many/most Debenhams brands are good.
It's one of Debenhams 'core' brands rather than their designer brands. It's not a great make but it's not terrible either. Pretty neutral I'd say.

Oh right, that's what I was getting at, cheers. Alot of Red Herring stuff is pretty expensive or atleast it used to be.

They're always putting prices down then up again which really pisses me off.

I don't look at the label. I judge for myself, but labels are generally a good starting point to judge quality.
