Lost my wood on my first time... SO embarrassed...

Me and my girlfriend were going to have sex yesterday, but we didn't because I lost my erection when I put the condom on. I'm so embarrassed and what little confidence I had has really been shaken...

I really want to have sex with her, and so does she with me (to the extent that she's become slightly paranoid I lost it because of her) but I just can't seem to get past the condom stage without losing my wood!

I played it slow and tried to build up to it, but I guess I was always worried about not pleasing her, as she's had 4 other sexual partners and 4 other, more experienced, frames of reference to which I will be compared to.

I love her so much and really want her to enjoy it. I've made her cum before, if it makes any difference.

Can anyone offer me any advice on the matter? Any similar experiences?

Cheers

Don't let it bruise you
I recommend by-passing the put-on-condom-stage.

it's quite obvious that she should put your condom on

that would only strengthen your wood

Tell her to put the condom on with her mouth, or arse.

Are you hoping somebody will recommend by-passing the put-condom-on-stage?

Nope. I'm hoping for some people who had the same thing but came back next time and were successful :p:

I've talked about alternative contraception before, telling her I have trouble with condoms. She's aware of it, but still took my inability personally (I'm working on reassuring her lol).

I think the best way to reassure her though, would be to have sex with her... Which I can't do as I struggle with nerves!
It happens
Did for me and most of my mates iirc on their first times
Don't worry that she's experienced.. they are ex's, and ex's are ex's for a reason.
And besides, I'm sure she won't mind teaching you

And onto the losing wood issue.. you will probably have worked out that it's because you're nervous and worried.. just have confidence that it will happen and it eventually will
Relax and, importantly, enjoy yourself :yep:

And if that fails then blue pill while you build your confidence levels

Get her to put it on with her mouth.

I tried that in caravan club once...except with her ass.
Been happening to me too mate. Got it working last night and did it properly this morning.

Just keep relaxed an it'll happen eventually. Try not masturbating for a week, might help.
Happens to the best of us, little mate.

Is there anything in particular that makes you nervous? Is she staring at you as you put the condom on, are you insecure about your body or penis etc.? Any of the obvious things?

Not insecure about my penis, not really my body, she didn't stare or anything lol. I was fine RIGHT up until I put my hand in the draw and got the condom out - it immediately starting going and she had to get me going again, for me to lose it again when putting it on.

I think I'm most worried about being rubbish or ironically... losing my erection.

This is why you should do it with Prostitutes to gain the experience,
then get a gf.
Start watching plastic and balloon fetish videos. You lose so much sensation that wearing a condom is basically like having sex with a plastic bag while your girlfriend happens to be there, so instead of thinking "damn, condom" you will start to think "**** YEAH, CONDOM"

You need to man up in more ways than one.
Why not practice with some condoms on your own? Maybe you're not used to the process of putting it on and how it feels?
It might make you more comfortable and make things go a little more smoothly if putting it on was seen not so much as a step away from what you're doing but a transition into the main act.

Have you tried putting on condoms when you are alone, and not about to have sex?

Yes and though usually it still goes down, I have maintained it before, showing that it is possible lol :p:

It certainly is the nerves I have associated with condoms and therefore iminent sex.

Or you could remember the youtube video "getting inside (second try)" and lose all available erectile function from laughter.
