The Queen has emphasised the role of sport in "bringing people together from all backgrounds, from all walks of life" in her Christmas message.

I think it's a good message particularly given the state of the nation's health, and you only have to look at the Olympics or World Cup to see how sport can unify people.

It's not really her message though is it. Probably some PR guy scrambling something together, the Queen didn't have a clue what she was reading.

I would've preferred Prince Philip insulting an Arab.
