Past, Present, or Future. You decide.

I'm sure I saw an essay on this somewhere. Oh well.

What do you think is more important.

Conserving and remembering what came before you. - Past

Living for now. - Present

Or planning for the future. - Future

Which do you think is the most valuable and important?

And why?

Present, because the past and the future are equally far away.
Future because I'm an optimist.

Depends on age, at the moment planning for the future.
Don't dwell on the past, as you live in the present, don't stay solely in the present as you're moving into the future, so ponder and plan, you can look forward and back but don't do either exclusively.
For me, I'd say past 'cause my future looks crap, the way my present is going.

The past is lost and unreachable and there may be no future. So the present.
Future. That's my main focus at the moment.
