You've got to hand it to him, he had a point:

Much as i wish i could just hit 'delete' on that entire socio-(non)economic group, you've also got to hand it to them, they might have a point. Why bother working if a family can get (30k + (12*1200*1.3ish) = about £50, 000 a year PLUS other benefits for doing NOTHING but screwing. Perhaps we need to hit delete on their right to vote first. THEN things will change....
I really don't give a ****.

A 'bad back' what utter tripe, it is just an excuse for laziness. I mean why work when you can get paid for doing nothing? People out there have many problems and still work so this excuse is pathetic.

Fortunately, 4 people who have negged me so far realise that immigrants are not to be blamed for everything that goes wrong in this country (particularly to do with welfare benefits....Unfortunately, they are too shy to come out of the closet
perhaps we'll see plenty more by tonight!

i dont understand why you are allowed to claim benefit for 10 children, that is stupid, you should really only get it for 3-4 kids max.
He's a mug. And there's surely gotta be an easier to get some more of our money then popping out another baby, but they wouldn't know, those retards

Gary Bateman and Joanne Sheppard pocket an estimated £30,000 a year in state handouts.

He claims £89.80 a week incapacity benefit for a bad back and is not thought to have worked since 1999. Because they are jobless they can claim a host of other benefits.

They live in a £300,000 five-bedroom home the £1,200 a month rent paid for by housing benefit.

They live with ten of their youngest children the oldest five have moved away and receive £20.30 for their eldest and £13.40 for the remaining nine.

Last year, Mr Bateman’s claim to be unwell was called into question after he was filmed taking part in a motocross competition.

But the 46-year-old said: ‘People need to keep their noses out of our business and people saying bad stuff about us should be shot. I want to work but I can’t. I haven’t ridden my bike since last year.’

Miss Sheppard, 36, who has not worked for 20 years, said: ‘I just can’t understand what all the fuss is about.’

Classy, isn't he?

How does this story make you feel?

Extremely angry. These people are everything that is wrong with society. I hate to break it to you, foul chavs, but you do not have a right to be riding the dole and scrounging off of the taxpayer. Yes, people do have a right to say things about them...because they're living off of our money! Classless, tasteless, uneducated and downright disgusting.

Also, 'bad back', sorry but you can sit at a chair and press buttons, therefore you can do most desk jobs.

Bring on the negs from the lefties who will undoubtedly say "it's not his fault".

I remember seeing some tory minister(jeremy hunt maybe, don't know) on newsnight, getting grilled about a policy almost exactly fitting your comment

I think it's a good idea...although of course an idea that would need some work.

But it may help stop people on benefits having mountains of kids when they can't afford them.

Bad back hasn't seemed to prevent him from reproducing. It annoys me beyond belief that nothing can be done about these blatant injustices.

I agree that it's not always immigrants, but my father works in London with a very 'diverse' work team, and when he asked them why they all come over here the resounding answer was, without hesitation, "The benefits."

His bad back doesn't seem to be a problem when "procreating"with his missus then?
Hmmmmm Hmmmmmm
All benefits should be under £10,000 no matter how much family members.
