This is a non-specific poll, as doing one for each of the disciplines would flood the forums and make it pointless.

Therefore, vote collectively with a general view of engineering or all the sub-sections involved in making your decision.

Errr, no it wouldn't.

In fact many would argue that a poll without reference to a specific field is pointless.

Take a look at the ridiculous breadth of topics which can all come under the "engineering" banner. At its extremes you've got things like information engineering (which is basically just maths), the theoretical bits of electrical / electronic (which are basically just physics), environmental engineering and sustainability (lots of crossover with geography and even ecology) and software engineering (close to computer science).
