Yh im doing the same, past papers, i think if you know how to answer all the questions in the past papers, it will be a piece of cake in the actual exam... not rocket science.

- Did the review exercises, practice paper and the examination style paper. Now doing past papers.
- Quite confident as C1 is easy.
- No idea.

Mymaths.co.uk :colondollar: :colondollar: :colondollar:
IT DOES HELP! Seriously...
And past papers, of course.

- How confident are you?
Pretty confident compared to how I feel about my other subjects  my teacher seems to think I'll get an A  I guess we'll see.

- Any suggestions on what may come up?
Hmmmmmmmm... differentiation and integration for sure! Graphs, of course... and simultaneous equations. All of these seem to come up every year.

Good luck with your exam!

hopefully should be really easy.... the only problem i face is trying to cut out stupid mistakes
It should be easy, I'm quite prepared.

I have a feeling they may mix things up in some way.... if you know what I mean.

sequences (excluding sigma notation) is bloody hard at times, that's the only problem. It is because the problems become so wordy and hence it's usually the only question in the exam that requires a lot more logical thinking.

everything else should be full marks (hopefully, unless I make silly mistakes).

coordinate geometry is my strength.

Me.

- Haven't started yet, but will be rereading my notes and doing a couple of past papers if I have time.
- Not at all. I will f**k up.
- Look at past papers. They are quite similar.

do you think they will make the paper difficult this year?
and will the grade boundaries go up or down do you guys think?

- I've done past papers and an additional heft of miscellaneous exercises from the OCR textbook (Anyone on OCR will know they're difficult).

- I'm pretty confident to the extent if I don't get over atleast 85 ums I'll be upset.

- No suggestions really; the same thing tends to come up every year with slight alterations. There is a limit as to what they can ask.

EDIT:

Just realised that this is an edexcel thread :colondollar:

They're both in the morning, right?
So do we get a break in between? (is this different from school to school?)
