Yeah, a mathematical one.

No really, your teachers should get the paper about 15-30mins after the exam has finished, depending on your school's rules about this sort of thing and whether they can be arsed.
I'm sure if you asked them they would copy it for you.

Yep. I honestly doubt the people who interviewed me had even read my personal statement. It really does come down to their aptitude tests and a few questions at interview.

Because it said less than 15, ie less than or equal to 14. Using the continuity correction goes to 14.5

You'll probably only lose 2 or maybe 3 if they're harsh

A - 65 at most
90 UMS [which isn't really A*] - 68-70 UMS.

I suspect people will only lose about 1-3 marks on Q2 alone. I suspect I will lose 1 mark since I said "Teacher's claim is wrong"

Nope - I believe it ain't the first paper not to do this too, so not really surprised. Luckily for me because I wouldn't be able to say what a statistic/critical region is is...

i completely messed up question 2)

i got confused and put n=50 and p=0.2
there for my binomial distribution was X=B(50,0.2) instead of X=B(10,0.2)

and when it said the teach thinks that the student 'guessed' the answers i assumed that that meant she thought the student was dumb and therefore the probability was less.

Therefore

i got as H0: p=0.2
H1: p<0.2
significance = 5%
i got an answer which made the critical region 4 and less...
i thought i was right at the time but i know now that im wrong...

Does anyone know how many marks i would lose?..

3-5 at least if the examier is kind enough to allow ft for your 50 mistake, or else all of it. Your H1 is also wrong, and I will assume that your conclusion is wrong too, since you said that he never guessed? so quite a few marks lost there.
