University: Swansea University
Course: English literature (Q300)
Date application sent: 13/12/2010
Decision: Conditional!
Offer conditions: ABB (A doesn't specifically have to be in English either, which is a God-send because I'm really struggling with one of the modules this year!)
Your reaction: So happy! I realised as soon as I got the offer that I actually wanted to go to Swansea more than anything; it sounds so cheesy, but I'd had my heart set on Cardiff University for a good two years and it was until I started Year 13 that I realised I wasn't too keen on going there for several reasons. This meant I had no idea where I wanted to go, so I sort of rushed my choices and although I don't regret any of them, I had no idea what I was going to firm, reject, put as my insurance etc. As soon as I got my offer from Swansea, I just knew it was the right place for me  I'm so excited!
University: King's College London
Course: Biomedical Science
Date application sent: 13th October
Decision: Conditional
Offer conditions: AAB, including A Level Biology and Chemistry by August 2011.
Reaction: I actually felt a bit sick. My predicted grades dont meet the recent change in requirements so for months i told myself I was going to get a rejection, I was pretty okay with the fact too so it was a massive shock when I got the offer. I'm also a bit worried cause, although its a great uni and the course there is amazing, the requirements are gonna be hard to get.
