Try Warwick instead, I'm sure you'll wait a lot less.
Anyone else still waiting on Bath?

economics nd history of art think Im going to be doing straight economics now though since it was the only one

And what unis have you applied to?
Anyone go to the Surrey open day? What did you guys think?
[rant mode on] Still nothing from Bath, and it seems a lot of people received their decisions already :frown: I mean congrats to all obviously but still I feel a little down...
Idk, I really expected to hear from them sooner since I consider myself a strong applicant i.e. very strong academics with major focus on maths and econ, relevant extra curriculars, work experience etc. I'm in a gap year so already have my results plus I received other offers from not bad unis

well, I guess I can only wait and hope for the better

It wasn't that bad, but it wan't terribly engaging and the tour wasn't that informing. What did you think?

How are you predicted A*AA with AS AAB?
I got AAA at AS in maths 88% economics 90% and geography 90% and am only predicted AAA at A2.

Oh and same got rejected from nottingham today! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh

=(
I'm getting pretty worried now. Still in year 12, but the fact that you got AAA at AS is brilliant, but you still got rejected from Nottingham University! How?!! Did they give any reasons why?
Hope you get your other offers that you wanted =)

If I'm fortunate enough to get into Bath, then I'll chose Bath over Durham.
I'd say Bath's economics department has the slight edge, but Durham has a greater overall reputation. Thus, I'd chose Bath because I prefer the actual university itself.
They're very close in standards though, and you'll do very well going to either.
Anyone waiting on warwick or ucl

So far my ucas is:

Notts - unsuccessful
Leicester - ABB
Bath - A*AA

For L100 economics
What do you think my chances are:

I got 7A* 4A at GCSE
2A* in Maths and Eco, and and A in philosophy at A-Level
I have also got 2As at AS in Futher Maths and Chemistry

The thing is I have mentioned my module marks on my UCAS form and in a few of them I have Bs and Cs but my overall UMS marks for my subjects are all above 85% min.

I have got offers from Notts and Southampton but I am waiting on UCL, Warwick and LSE. Do you think that I will get an offer from one of these? I'm worried that my module grades will bring me down. Your thoughts please!

NB I am applying Post-A level and I am currently working at Rotherschild

I was rejected by notts too. I think they want 7 A*+ GCSE. That and if you are close to having Maths, Physics, Further maths and economics at A level, you have a good chance at Oxford.
