Actually crying right now.

Turns out I was sent an interview in the post on 3rd of December for the 3rd of February, but I never received the letter because of the snow.

I now have an interview for the 7th of March!

That's such excellent news!!! See, being pushy is worth it sometimes! Thrilled for you

Hey guys. I was just wondering if anyone got asked an "sciencey stuff" about their personal statement. For example if you mentioned that you saw a patient with breast cancer, would you get asked about its causes, treatments, symptoms etc. ?

Unlikely but I'd probably get some info just incase - no more detail than what is on NHS choices tho and that should give you what you need to know

For grads who have had previous funding...

SAAS havee withdrawn the difference payment of fees and it will apply to 2011 applicants and thereafter so now means £3300 per year versus £1800. I think there may be some people who will have to withdraw on account of this.

Yeah, just a little over 50%...

I've just realised that this means I have to actually work and make sure I get AAAAB now. That's a bit of a bummer.

Hi Sweetchilli,

I can't seem to open this link. Where did this information come from?

I just checked the SAAS website and it still says we can apply for funding to make up the difference. Although I imagine they dont update the information very quickly!
