Hi ya. so how much money do you reccomend taking for freshers week? some people have said like 500-700 £ :s-smilie:

I think I spent about £15 every night out, (Sat, Sun, Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri) or thereabouts, then you always end up spending on things like food, taxis (if you use them) and then extras like clothes or more alcohol. I think in total I spent about £200, it sounds a lot but really not as much as some people spend! Think about how much you spend on nights out generally and how much food etc you'll bring to uni already, add a bit for extras. But don't panic too much about spending , it's supposed to be a fun week

You should get a booklet in the post at the end of this month or during the beginning of April about accommodation. This'll include your login. You have an conditional offer like me so you'll book your accommodation at the beginning of May (I think).

Business, but I wanna specialise in Economics or Entrepreneurship like yourself in my second year. You should be in the same lectures as me then

Ahh sweet man, yeah! I actually can't wait, want these months to just disappear, but knowing my luck it'll drag on and on. Went to Nottingham for the first time yesterday, fell in love with the city and business school!

Yeah me neither! I keep wishing these days would hurry up  you got a conditional offer or unconditional?

I went to the open day in October and loved it, the new buildings they opened are pretty sweet. And the city is pretty good, I love how close together everything is, plenty of stuff to do

Nah I have a conditional offer like you  ah well. I would have had a unconditional if I didn't cancel my deferred place  silly me. And I come from Hampshire  lol. I come from a small town which has a small shopping centre and one (rubbish) small nightclub , so everything is an improvement really

I confirmed around a month ago too. If you went to the NTU open day they explained that accom bookings would not be opening until later on. Its first come first served. So be quick . Its in April or May that it opens I think, cant really remember. Im going to ring them up sometime soon x

Unlucky man, at least you don't have to worry about summer exams? Ahaha, I live in a tiny little village in Sussex, four shops and a pub, and you think you have it bad

Looking at accomodation now, do you know where you want to stay? Loved Gill Street on the open day but it's probably gonna be waaay too expensive! :frown:

I'm in my rookie season for Birmingham Bulls so will have experience when I get to uni! Receiver/Tight End for me by the way
