Are bouncers universally all dickheads? got into a tussle and feel bad.

I've never had a bad experience with a bouncer. Me and a friend -both girls- were being harassed after we'd left a club at closing, ran over to a all-night bar and the bouncers saw we were in trouble, let us jump the (small) queue and refused to let the guys harassing us in. Once we were sure the guys had gone, ended up spending most of the rest of the evening (morning?) outside chatting with the bouncers!

Generally I've found that if you're polite and friendly to them, they'll be the same.

This new guy started at the club im a regular at, that wasn't going to let me and my friends in. We literally walked up to the door and before we could have even said anything he was telling us we weren't allowed in. I then looked at my mate andre who happens to be the head bouncer and he started laughing and jokingly said in his ukranian accent, 'no no this is the boss man, he owns the place' (that was my nickname when i used to work there, dont ask why). At the end of the night when i was leaving i asked andre why the new guy wasn't going to let me in and apparently when your the new guy you need to make a good impression and make it look like you are not afraid to refuse people. And apparently me and my mates must have looked a little intimidating to the new bouncer so he saw that as an opportunity to impress the other bouncers by refusing us.
So maybe it's not personal, maybe he is just trying to impress the other bouncers. :dontknow:

whatever, i have better things to do than talk to you :ciao:

i know right? if only such a thing existed.. :moon:
Most bouncers I've come into contact with have been pretty sound. My mate has a dodgy pass ID and almost all accept it regardless, maybe with a bit of banter. Whenever I've had a mate completely Charlie Sheen'd bouncers have always been really good with getting him/her some water and checking up on us from time to time.

no, joining a forum is not the reason, the fact that you are a complete moron is the reason
Yeah generally they are power hungry dick heads. Ultimately you just have to remind yourself how their lives are going no where.

So yeah, got back from a mates birthday night out in newcastle. Got racism from a bouncer in the entrance to a club, pushed him off and walked off. He was grabbing my arm stopping me from getting in so i basically shoved him off me. Felt a bit bad really because i don't really go out on a night much. Is this a normal experience for students in general in regards to bouncers? Also a localler was taking the piss too and i didn't really like that. But i just laughed at them and walked off. Didn't want to fight as the bouncers bigger mate was behind him.

What club was it at? People are normally alright up here.
