Multiple integrals

if f(x,y)=xy^2 and R is the region in the first quadrant of the xy plane bonded by y=x and y=x^2. I evaluated this integral and got 1/40...
I did the integral in the order of dxdy so i got the dx limits as y and squareroot of y. I just want to confirm if this is correct? Thanks.

Looks right. (I'd say it's more natural to do the integrals in the opposite order, but you should get the same result either way).

I would agree with DFranklin that dydx is a little easier but whatever you prefer is fine!
Ok another one!(and hopefully final one) if f(x,y)=2y and the region R = {(x,y):y<=x, y<=2-x, y>=0}, I did dxdy in that order again :tongue:. I got the answer of 2/3 with limits as y and 2-y. Is this correct? Thanks again!
