I'll lend you as much as you want... as long as you pay 1000% interest.

do you have a job? If not ask someone you know that you're desperate to work for around a few months and explain the situation. hopefully people will be understanding and the once you have the job you can talk it over with your landlord about paying the £1800 over the course of a few months with your new job.

Nepotism at its finest. Shame there's no other way of getting a job these days.

Basically i am fed up with replying in an intelligent way to responses from people trying to be funny, and crushing my spirits in the process. So i hope you are happy. And i really hope that in your times of need people are just as lovely to you, i have had so many lovely responses from genuine people that deserve great things in life, so i really hope that Karma exists. Especially for you.

lol i am actually in a similar position to you, fyi

bear in mind, that if you do get kicked out by your landlord, you wont have to pay any rent other than what you owe for the time you've already lived there, freeing up the money you've earmarked for future rent. so your situation isnt as bad as you think - just sofa surf till your student loan comes in, then find somewhere dirt-cheap after that

My landlord is a good man, and i wouldnt do anything to put him out, i am looking for the solution where he gets his money, whether it matters or not that it puts me in more debt in the long run, im not worrying about money for me at the moment, just that he gets his money, and i can continue living in the place i now consider my home.

Well then discuss your situation with him. If he is a good man then he'll wait until the end of April for the £800 you'll have then. In the mean time, that gives you a few weeks to try to raise some extra cash.

Look at it from his point of view: it's better for him to have a full year's rent off you, but to have to wait for it, than to kick you out and risk not finding a tenant for your room and thus not get any money at all.

You couldnt be more right to be honest, i just feel really guilty about holding it all up, i think he really needs it at the moment so i am just trying my best to think of a way to make things better for him.
Try Provident and Greenwoods (dunno if greenwoods is in your area but you could try)
Might be worth speaking to your MP to try and get the student finance issue sorted out. Have you made a formal complaint? At the end of the day if it's their fault then you shouldn't be out of pocket.

Shelter's helpline might be able to give you more advice - they're really helpful.

Oh wait, im being sarcastic, damn, problem still exists.

Listen, i apply for every job available, i am trying to do medical trials, and i am trying everyway i can pay this money, so your little 'job' comment really doesnt help me at all, and yes, i did exactly what you wanted by snapping and letting a little leach like yourself get the pleasure in annoying me but i honestly couldnt care less. Now do me a favour and crawl back into your hole.

oh, i skimmed your original post, i didn't realise that you got a certain amount of time left, my bad, i don't like people snapping at me :'(

medical trials are the best bet to go but it's fairly risky to take part of.

can't you ask your parents or friends for a loan until you're back on your feet?

now i shall return back into my hole
You got anything you could pawn?

You have no other choice than to go to your nearest casino and hope you have a good day. I was meant to pay off £380 for my holiday last summer but only had £290 two days before it was due, I toddled down the casino and had a good day (abliet a rare one) and left with £410, I spent the change on a huge dominoies and a weeks worth of beer.
I would suggest that you examine two things about yourself: What can you do and what do you like to do.
I think its best if you can make money doing something that you like to do and that you are good at.
medical trial, easy money
