Lancaster Uni open day / interview. What attire is expected?

Hi all,

I'm attending an open day / interview with Lancaster Uni Physics Dept. next week. In fact it's more of an open day / chat.. as I've already been given an offer however all of the other people attending will be having interviews and I dont wanna rack up in jeans and a t-shirt if every1 else is suited up.

What sort of attire is expected for this occasion?

3 piece suit, if they said it's just a chat then you won't need a ruff but you could wear one to be safe

Hey Sean,

I've already attended the Lancaster Physics interview / open day.
You should wear a shirt and pair of jeans.

That's what I wore and what most of the other people wore. One of the guys wore a full suit, and he just looked out of place.
So go for the smart-casual type thing.
