Could someone read over my German essay quickly please?

Hi,

I have a 280 word German essay which is gonna be part of my GCSE grade, so could anyone be so kind as to read it over for errors?

If you're willing, could you PM me or post here and I'll send it to you in a PM to avoid plagiarism

Thanks a lot

thanks for the offer but I think Sappho's taking care of it

I may need some further assistance with some sample answers which I'm preparing for a structured conversation which is also part of the exam, if you wouldn't mind helping me out there?

thanks

Wikipedia and Pall Mall cigarettes would disagree.

But you're the classics scholar so I'm inclined to believe you.

Well, Wikipedia rules:biggrin:

But I definitely prefer Seneca's „Non est ad astra mollis e terris via“.

I really wonder how I thought that "per ardua ad astra" is some original quotation...

I think I prefer "ad astra per alas porci."

We're heading dangerously off-topic here. Did you help the dude with his German?

Ey, of course I did:tongue:

Pigasus is quite cute indeed:smile: My bike is called Pegasus, but if I ever have a pink bike, this'd be a nice name, too:biggrin:

Isn't it?

I will miss it when I come to the UK to study there! The other day I realised I'd get €130 for the Latin lessons I do, I guess I'll spend them on a second bike for Scotland! Any suggestions for a nice name for it?:colondollar:

Bieber as in Justin Bieber?

No offense there, Justin Bieber (together with our eldest and dustiest Latin teacher) was very handy to explain Greek male love attitudes to my Latin tutorial pupils...
