C grade coursework= A/A* overall (English)

Basically can someone that has a C grade coursework, achieve an A overall in the AQA English Language GCSE?
And what is the minimum grade they have to achieve in the exam to get this?
Depends on the grade boundaries, how many marks and so on.
I think you'd have to be getting a high A* to get from a C to an A.

At a stretch I think so... however don't get so worried about your GCSE grades, I'm not saying they don't mean much but just concentrate on doing well, pull out all the stops for A Levels.
