Resit modules and get them up to A's. Especially chemistry. I've not come across a med school that doesn't want chem at A. Except maybe Peninsula but I could be wrong.

For medicine:

Get them up to AAA. The vast majority of med schools now require AAA, with more and more turning from AAB to AAA every year.

This is a perfect example of why you should only take 3 A-Levels and no more!

e: Just checked. Only 3 medical schools will now accept AAB - and I'd wager that they will start asking for AAA from 2012/2013 entry. There's also BSMS, who will accept A*AB (i.e. same UCAS points as AAA).

AABB shows he's rounded and medical schools appreciate the extra work and it's worth lots and differentiates him from all the people who only get AAA and and and and

Get over 700 in your UKCAT and with AAAB at AS, you'll be in a great position.
