Anyone still waiting to hear from kings?

Not quite sure how you managed to get some negative rep on this! Tried to balance it out but TSR won't let me...anyway, yeah, my school does manage to get down to pretty small class sizes even though it's a state school, but then we do get some outside funding as well. I think essentially the smaller the better, and that law schools offer the best they can afford - though Leicester manages to get it down to 8 people per tutorial, somehow - and this is why most subjects are better at Oxbridge, people just put more time into teaching you. That said, some teachers manage really well with large class groups, but then some, not so much...even a very good state grammar like mine which attracts very good teachers (allegedly) has a couple of real bad ones, including one of my current chemistry teachers - barely half of us even bother showing up for lessons these days, you could teach yourself more effectively...

actually going insane over THE LAW .... will i have any time to drink at uni ... apparently we all have 40+ hour weeks an then there is reading which i hav a feeling will equate to about 60 hour work weeks???

I very much doubt anyone does 60 hours a week who isn't doing about 1/3 more work than anyone else. Pretty sure Oxford recommend 45 hours of work a week, although they say "constructive" hours, which I guess means they don't count the hours of work where you say you're working, but are really lounging.

Just got an offer from Warwick today

If you think about it, 40+hour weeks aren't absolutely terrible. If you treat it as a 9-5, and do 10ish hours on the weekends---that seems to be sufficient.

its interesting you say this, I to believe the only ay is through some form of 9-5 structure...however as we all know weekends =rowing

I'm warming to the idea of "Do nothing Sundays."
Meaning a 9-5 working week and a few hours on Saturday, coupled with glorious Sundays.

Early October. I reeaaally hope they don't drag this out until April/May!

My plan but switching it--Sunday w/ Saturday.
