I can't imagine this is anything but a troll post, but nonetheless l'm going to put in my two cents about frats (having experienced greek life at a large university)
....the boys are *generally* rude, disgusting and have simultaneous superiority and entitlement complexes. Frat parties can be incredibly dangerous. When I refused to go home with a brother he put a roofie in my drink (luckily another girl saw him do this and warned me). Another time, a friend and I walked in on an unconscious girl getting raped in an upstairs bedroom by two of the brothers. Sexual assaults are scarily common and if the brothers do get caught or are threatened with legal action, the greek committee only revokes their title for a semester and they are back at their antics the next term. People fall off balconies, black out, overdose on drugs and get alcohol poisoning like it's a normal, everyday thing. The hazing the brothers have to go through is abusive and destructive. Greek life has evolved into something absolutely awful (at least at the university I attend). I think it truly used to be about the brotherhood and sharing that common bond, but now it's turned into a way for easy access to girls, booze and money.
I used to go for the free alcohol and dancing, but it's honestly not worth the hassle of interacting with these ***** anymore. I can't understand why any self-respecting guy would surrender his individuality in favor of the title of a "frat boy," which has all sorts of horrible connotations for those of us outside of the greek system.
Anyway, luckily the OP was being sarcastic.
