baby/birth related (what is the actual name for this specialism anyone?) Hematology Oncology or Palliative
EDIT: Should have thought about how ditzy this would make me seem, but your quotes have been amusing xD What I meant was, I know obstetrics is baby related, but its normally O&G so I was wondering if there was a specialty that just deals specifically with ill newborns. Is neonatal what I'm thinking of?
Haha I know lol. Most bizare choice ... but ever since I have discovered it I've always been really interested in it, I found out that NASA do an elective though which I think is pretty cool.
Dirty, smelly, bleeding and oozing gash float your boat?
Exactly.
I used to think "BOOYAH! Best job eva!! "
Then i realised:
A) You don't go to a doctor unless there's a problem. B) Its not going to be Katy Perry everytime ( If ever ) C) It probably going to be dealing with Prolapses on old women 99% of time

Indeed. And even if the patient is hot and doesn't have some kind of mank coming out of there, speculums are not the most sexy of instruments.
