I planned to have Stirling as my insurance but they decided to raise the grades after I applied which means it is now the same as Kent. (This also irritatingly means I don't have an insurance!!)
I hope to study Social Policy, I have been to visit Kent but won't be able to visit Stirling. Would anybody from Kent or Stirling or who knows anyone who goes to either uni be able to tell me about their uni life there?

Really don't know where to choose now :frown:

Thanks!!

The campus at Stirling is fabulous and only a short way from the city centre. Wonderful scenery, lots of history, good rail links for Glasgow & Edinburgh. Good quality of life and not bad night life. First year halls are a bit basic but really great for making friends. Good mix of nationalities, sports facilities are excellent as it is the Scottish centre for sport. The degree system is really flexible with a good choice of extra modules and the 2 x 15 week semesters work well. There are some good videos on the uni website. check it out.
