How to apply for maintenance grant for returning students

Hey, in september im going in my 2nd year at uni. I applied for the tuition fee loan and thats sorted but how do i apply for maintenance grant? theres nothing written on the site or do they use last years details?
If you got it last year the same process will apply.
If you didn't you need to ask for an income assessed loan.

If you selected income assessed loan, then you're automatically assessed for the grant.

I dont know if i did that...i just applied for tuition fee i dont want the maintenance loan and i think i said no to income assessed loan and theres no option to change it to income assessed.

Yes there is.
Download a change of circumstance form, fill it in and send it off.

You'll probably have to ring up student finance then.
