All the parties represented are active.

This is from the libertarian parties dear leader:

"Well done us. We've got the highest attendance record for our MPs compared to everyone else:

Conservatives: 74%
Libertarian: 96%
Labour: 88%
Lib Dem: 78%
Centre Party: 89%
Socialists: 69%
UKIP: 90%

Average: 86%

Addzter (LibDem) has the lowest attendance at 25%.

aaran-j (Con), Teaddict (Con), simontinsley/Annony Mouse (Liber), Annony mouse/Norfolkadam (Liber), ThePants999 (Liber), rockunride (Labour), Eru Iluvatar (LibDem), Seba_Nile (Cen) and Joluk (Cen) had 100% attendance.

UKIP and the Socialists are the only parties to have not a single MP with 100% attendance.

Not a single Socialist voted on the Welfare Bill at the end of the Parliament. It was arguably one of the most important bills in the whole Parliament and none of them could be bothered."

Be very careful not to misrepresent figures. TSR UKIP attendance is based both on myself and Paddy's attendance same with life_peer and lotpp. Furthermore, until the last two votes, myself and Life_peer had an excellent attendance percentage. We were both unable to vote due to unforeseen circumstances. Be sure to actually give statistics and the story behind it not meaningless propaganda.

That said, good research nonetheless.

I certainly think that a party should be able to change their name in the same way that a party can be created which does not exist in real life. While this does put them at a disadvantage, that should be their choice because there will always be people who vote purely because of RL events. If anything, having the vote in the current affairs forum section probably amplifies this effect.

I agree with having the right to change your party name and i also agree in getting people involved however i think that should be a party decision, not a blanket 'you are all real parties or all fake named'.

The BNP will never beat UKIP, especially on TSR although i do hope that the party is created if only to see their angle on bills.

Completely agree.
Voted for the Centre Party. I was torn between them and the Libertarians, but I prefer the Centre Party's emphasis on the environment.

Better choice. The Libertarians approach to almost anything is 'do nothing'.

What ever happened to the Green Party? I thought that they were in government at one point.

We already have socialists and TSR labour are basically socialists too, do we really need a third socialist party?

:fyi:

The Libertarian approach to the environment would be this in conjunction with this.

I think TSR Green Party were around back in 2005 but they were soon disbanded along with TSR UKIP and TSR BNP due to inactivity.
why am I not able to vote?

Because of a bug in the system the poll doesn't allow users with negative rep to vote even though you should be allowed.

To vote you have to PM your decision to Metrobeans who will then get the supermoderators to add it to the total when the poll ends.

You are in the red. Think of it as the equivalent of prisoners not being able to vote :p: In seriousness though I think that it is a bug and you should be able to vote. Try PMing Metrobeans.

This has been an exceptionally inactive term though.

You can't PM users who aren't members of your party.
Vote Labour.
