I've always wanted to try this going by the name alone. WAGGLE DANCE. It makes me want to do a waggle dance of my very own :tongue:

My contributions are all asian:

Steamed dumplings, otherwise known as Potstickers. Basically, very thin soft pastry with a filling of meat, fish or vegetable and sauce. You can buy them frozen in big bags in asian groceries, and you simply fry them in a tiny bit of oil, then add water to cover them and simmer for 5 minutes. They're gorgeous and surprisingly filling.

Mochi! Again, you can find this in most asian stores. It's basically a soft rice dumpling (the texture is like marshmallow but less sweet) with a sweet filling. You can get lots of different varieties, and even ones with ice cream in the middle.

Again from the asian grocery (can you tell I just LOVE these places?!) the wonderful wasabi pea! Basically dried peas with a coating of fiery wasabi. These are fantastic if you have a cold because they're so hot they blast your nose clear. It's easy to eat an entire bag in one sitting, they're extremely addictive - but beware, I once did this and pretty much burnt the skin off the roof of my mouth xD Not good!

The amount of asian food I consume, people probably think I'm some weird anime obsessive who worships Japan. Not so! ...I just worship their food :colondollar:

On the Greek trend, baklava and kleftiko are both heavenly! It is a shame it is so difficult to get proper kleftiko here in the UK...

I also want to add Fruli Strawberry Beer. Incredible stuff. Even it is £5.40 a pint where I go drinking [or £1.50ish for a 250ml bottle at Tesco]. :smile:

Dragon fruit deserve more love too. They are amazing. :biggrin:

I got a cider when I was in Scotland before called Chapman's Cider. It was fruity and absolutely delicious. Could've drunk it by the bucket. I've never been able to find it since :frown:

Fruli is delicious, but I find those 250ml bottles are quite enough because the taste gets a little "jammy" if you keep drinking it. It's a good "opening" drink for a summer's day!

Ordinary bolognese? Not that exotic, you might be thinking. However, when cooked with a nice bit of Elk mince, it transcends deliciousness. The texture is subtely different and the flavour like a cross between beef and venison. Had this when staying with family in the wilds of Sweden, made from an Elk my uncle had hunted himself- this meal also carries man-points atop its culinary merits.

heaven... my housemate bought me some once because of my slight addiction to cherry flavoured stuff now im hooked... :biggrin:

what could be better than cherry flavoured jaffa cakes?! nothing thats what :biggrin:

she also buys these polish fudge like sweets, there gooood dont know what they are though :frown:

come in a big bag with a cow on the individual sweet wrappers...

I've also found an alarming amount of people aren't aware of Fentiman's Curiosity Cola. It's not for everyone, but if you want to taste what *real* cola tastes like (ie, cola nuts and not pure sugar like Coke and Pepsi) give it a go!

These are getting harder and harder to find, but they are utterly delicious. Same as the Nesquik slice variants (although those are easier to find in general).
